I had the thought that it would be interesting to compare this LCHF cauliflower skillet "PIZZA" to a dinner that I have had in the past.So..as with the foods from childhood..I logged the Burger King meal into a blank day on my FITDAY site.
Cauliflower skillet meal with bacon AS you can see by the totals the cauliflower dish 11.9 carbs ( high for me these days) the BURGER KING meal 170 carbs...a TRUE WHOPPER! The calories are another story. |

(Please look things up for yourself...I am just sharing some things I find interesting and have been useful for me.)
MTCs are a special type of fat that is absorbed into our bloodstream and is then sent straight to the liver to be used as energy, instead of being digested, absorbed, and then stored in our cells. MTCs have been linked to helping improve body composition, helping the body burn more calories than other sources of fat, and even helping to regulate cholesterol levels. The following is an interesting site which talks about Brain Octane take from it what you will...I had it in my BACOFFEE. not advertising here...just sharing. http://www.paleomazing.com/paleo-recipes/brain-octane-oil-seizures-anti-aging-and-sports-enhancement-results/ |
